An England International home shirt 1982 bears No. 9 for Trevor Francis, England v. Northern Ireland and 1982 British Home Championship. Trevor Francis was injured after 65mins, and was substituted by Cyrille Regis. *SOLD WITH A LETTER OF CONFIRMATION STATING THE ABOVE LOT HAS COME FROM THE ESTATE OF THE LATE TREVOR FRANCIS* The estate has stated "I would say that Trevor wasn’t into collecting shirts / memorabilia as such himself. He preferred to keep only items which meant something significant to him personally. Specifically, he did speak about the shirt swap with Maradona and I remember on one occasion he thought he had mislaid it and was very concerned at the time, but he did locate it. Trevor bought and sold many homes and his shirts etc were never displayed and basically stored in suitcases or plastic crates. The Maradona shirt was a game swapped shirt, and from memory, I think there is a mud stain on the shirt. With regard to Zidane and Rivaldo, and on the basis of them meaning something to Trevor, I believe they were game worn shirts. I can’t give you any complete guarantee on the shirts but I do think he would not have retained them all those years ( and stored and transported them through many house moves !) if they didn’t mean a lot to him personally and were of significance."

A Rare Omega Speedmaster 'Ed White' Pre-Moon Chronograph Stainless Steel Gent's Chronograph Wristwatch, reference no. ST 105 003-65, movement serial no. 2401134**, circa 1966, tachymeter bezel, matt black 'T SWISS MADE T' dial with chronograph centre seconds, baton markers, minute markers, triple subsidiary dials, cal. 321 17 jewel movement with inner cap, Omega bracelet, boxed, 40mm. Winds and runs. Age related faults, buttons need attention ** In 1965 Edward Higgins 'Ed' White (1930-1967) was the first American to 'walk in space' outside of his Gemini 4 capsule. The Omega 105.003 has been coined the 'Ed White' as it was on the wrist of White during this historic milestone in space exploration ** The production period of the 105.003 was very short, lasting around three years from 1963. In 1966 it was superseded by the 'Professional' ref.105.012 famously worn on the moon in 1969

A Rare Jaeger-LeCoultre Mark 11 6B/346 RAF Pilots Military Wristwatch 1948, the 34.9mm case with black dial and the back marked with crow's foot 6B/346 3355/48 Provenance: from the estate (and by descent) of Frederick George Payne Army no. 22734171 and sold with a copy of his military papers. A contender for the best military watch ever made, It is believed that only around 2,950 JLC Mark 11s were produced for the RAF.

BERNARD CASPAR HARDY (1726-1819) A pair of late 18th or early 19th century wax studies of a seated Russian gentleman in a red robe with a bowl on his knee, and a lady carrying wearing a bonnet and shawl stitching a garment, both framed and glazed, 30 x 25cm. Hardy worked in Cologne at the turn of the 18th century, he is considered one of the finest exponents of his craft Two comparable works are in the collection of the Victoria and Albert museum.

A 1950's 18ct Gold, Ruby and Diamond Bracelet decorated with eight panels having stones in arranged in articulated swivelling flower heads, 7.25" (18.5cm), 12.2mm wide, London 1959, maker BRLd for Ben Rosenfeld, 51.88g Ben Rosenfeld was a British jewellery designer based in Hatton Garden. His jewellery design and production started around 1959, and he gained an international following throughout the 1960s and 70s for his fine jewellery designs. Operating in the post-war period, Rosenfeld relies heavily on gold in his designs, with plenty of bold, heavy and bright designs. Ben was one of the few Hatton Garden jewellers of the time to attain a worldwide reputation, and he continued to work until 1987. Today, one of his designs for a bracelet can be seen in the Victoria & Albert Museum. Pieces by Ben Rosenfeld are all signed with his maker's mark 'BRLd' and have a significant following of collectors.
